The Livingston family has been farming in Caledon since 1952. Our farm began as a small dairy operation and we eventually grew to own the largest milking Holstein herd in Ontario and the only farm producing kosher milk. We have always been innovative and interested in expanding. Today we operate a year-round butcher shop and food market, raise beef cattle and grow corn, grains and soy beans. The staff at Broadway Farm's Market are considered part of the Livingston family. Each one is sincere in promoting healthy eating. They bring a wealth of knowledge to our market and are happy to share their values with all our customers. Peter Hardy Peter began his butchering career as a Saturday Boy at the age of 14, in London England. For the next 3 years he earned his apprenticeship working under the finest butchers of London’s most prestigious shops. Peter and his family immigrated to Canada in 1996, where he continued his trade working for Stuart Quality Meats in Brampton. Broadway Farm’s is thrilled to have Peter join their team. He brings years of retail experience along with a wealth of knowledge and welcomes any butchering challenge. No request is too difficult and he takes a butcher’s pride in ensuring you always receive your “cut of choice”.
